You may recall that not too long ago I stuck a funny one on about my Mom, and now I am going to stick a funny one on about my Dad.

Vacation

We have been at RI for the last two weeks with friends and had great fun.
Right now I do not have any pictures but I will work on it over time.
Now I will list the places we went. And later put more detail out with the pictures.
First we went to Canonicus where we were staying, and we explored around there. One day we went to a beach and then another day we went to Beavertail, where there is a lighthouse.

Today…
Outside my window  it is a dull grey day.
I am thinking  of all the possible volunteer work I could do.
I am thankful for  good doctors.
I am wearing  a brown skirt and layered light blue and purple tops.
I am reading  And The Word Came With Power
I created sets of jewelry for my aunt.
One of my Favorite things is beading.
For education this week  I have to do Wordly Wise, Math, Easy Grammar, Bible, Spelling, Writing, Science and Sonlight.
A keeper at home skill I am using is cleaning.
A spiritual lesson I’m learning is that God is in control.

A godly character trait I plan to work on is mercy.
 I am memorizing  The Shorter Catechism
I am praying for sick kids.
For the rest of the week  I am doing school, beading, and preparing for vacation.  Yipee!

Diary of 5

I am seeing…  Mom and Boo sitting at the table.
I am hearing…  Boo laughing.
I am smelling…  Normal.
I have tasted…  Mango smoothies.
I am feeling… Okay.

Where’s That Sugar Bowl?

Okay the last few weeks have been crazy, so I will try to be easy on my Mom.
But through the craziness of it all, this is what happened. This took place over three days.
Before I take off on this, I will take a moment to say that in our house after breakfast, for those who want it, we have tea, before we take off for the day.
Day 1:(  Saturday March 3 ) After pouring tea, mom took her cup and dad’s and went off upstairs, after setting mine on the table.  After drinking mine, I proceeded to walk into the kitchen and saw… that. So I went to put the milk back in the refrigerator and saw..  that. So I reversed the picture. And I did not tell mom right then.
Day 2: Sunday (March 4) morning I asked if I could have honey in my tea.
That afternoon, we were going to have tea, and for 2 minutes the only words that were said were, “where is that sugar bowl?”
The honey was on the kitchen counter but where was the sugar bowl?
So I opened the cupboard door and that is what I saw. So WE reversed the picture.
Day 3: ( Monday March 5) And the last but not least of the episodes, is this: before breakfast Mom went downstairs to make tea, and this is what happened: Oh no! Not every one likes sugar in their tea. So we stopped Mom and  the sugar went in the cup.
Fortunately, this week has been a bit better, so far.  Mom has made dinner for two days!

Beading I have done.

I’ve not been beading lately, but here are some of the things I have done.

The bracelet and earrings came in to being after an order. There were enough beads to make three 7-8 inch bracelets and two earrings in total, with some left.

Here are the two first big things I did.

I really took off on beading last year, and now am making some to give away.
I think for me the hardest thing to do is earrings, but I am just a beginner and I am learning.

Diary of 5

I am seeing… gray clouds in the sky.
I am hearing… the sound of my brother wiggling on his chair, and the wind as it blows around the house.
I am smelling…  a stinky dish cloth.
I have tasted… waffles for breakfast.
I am feeling… bored.
